There needs to be some improvements on the reserve side, for sure. Calling to be released is ridiculous and is a waste of time for both sides. How is seniority not addressed for those situations? If you are reserve DFW and scheduling creates a trip to get you to LAS to cover a trip and DH back, that trip still needs to be assigned out of your base in contractual order.
Why would the company want to draft XY list to cover a trip in LAS if they can build a trip with the dozens of unused reserves in DFW to cover the trip? Most of the time you can get released from the DH back to base and commute to your home, if you commute
