RDU isn’t complicated by any means. They just built the parallel runways too close to allow simultaneous approaches.

CLT is a airport which the city and US Airways failed to reconfigure the airfield in order to keep CPAs down in order to maintain the US Airways hub during the down years.

Now we are seeing the results of such short sighted decisions made by the city of Charlotte, US Airways/American trying to operate the hub at a level which way beyond what the rhe airport can handle..
