You know darn well you can't fly for 48 hours after getting the vaccine. Get it on your time off for call in sick! That being said, this pilot is in a lot more trouble now that he/she sent screenshots of it that have ended up everywhere.
Eh, I think you're being pretty ridiculous. They said get the vaccine by the end of Jan which means you need to start the process by Jan 04 or whatever deadline they put in that most recent email. One pilot getting a vaccine around Christmas should not put us into severe irregular ops or cause a BCP to lose his cool. It's business as usual. Big deal, staff the airline accordingly for holidays as well as regular off season flying, and quit trying to put the blame on line pilots.
