All of those higher ups OUGHT to be embarrassed for permitting someone with that “management” style to be in a supervisory position.
That style of management is exactly how one “gets ahead” here at AS. I think that sadly a lot of us have grown accustomed to this abusive management style and have even gone as far as taking it out on each other in response.
Did the crew member comply with the contract? That’s all we should ever ask. Not is the timing suspicious?
Did the managers email break any laws or the contract? This is for our Union and an employment attorney to sort out behind the scenes.
