This doesn't seem possible to me. Seems more like before taxes and deductions. On 6th year pay before I quite, my second paycheck averaged around $1,700 to $1,900 after taxes. Sometimes more if I worked over 90 hours, sometimes less. This is after 10% was taken out for my 401(k), and medical for myself only.

My per diem could have been a couple hundred bucks more, as I got tired of doing all 4-day trips, but my credit hours were about 80 - 85. My first paycheck of course was more than the above mentioned.
