Depends if you can make the redeye outta SFO yes! If your based in LAX it’s much easier obviously. As for lance it’s always gonna go senior to junior captain! But some of those guys were chasing the seat around the country for the past two years as well! As for being a junior captain I personally think it’s worth it for a variety of reasons. But if your waiting for something closer to home to not commute that’s understandable. If your waiting to hold a home base + better seniority you might be waiting an additional 3-6 years depending on the base for that seniority. I don’t have regrets for taking first available! But also I do think upgrade will drop because alot of senior FO’s out of BWI, MCO and Atlanta will not take it.
