I generally block the trips together when I can. When I have reserve I really can not do much with them, so I either get lucky and trade out and move the trip to make a 6 day with stuff or if I have the space Ill pick up any base westward to make it essentially a paid commute. Same with going home if I have space.

The late flights luckily I have a few red eyes I can grab if want to get back early, but anyone who has done alot fo them can tell you they kick your butt the next day.

Ive lost probably 20-30 TFP a month having to commute to reserve. When I was east coast based I could make stuff work much easier. Its a pain, its temporary. But it still sucks. I feel for anyone who gets put in my or this situation.
