The big island (Hawaii) is pretty neat. Not as crowded as Oahu, some things to see. Take a drive all the way around it. Not super-cheap, but at least it's in US dollars...anywhere else is going to take the exchange-rate hit.

Or join the Army National Guard...that will get you a warm and cheap destination.
