Zap I’m sure you are senior to me but I see your wheels turning. I’m a seven year guy that will bid for a junior upgrade since it will be west coast. I’ll commute for it. My kids are finishing high school, one in college, and I’m a divorcee with amicable terms. I’m 46, so I figure if I go out long term sick it’s the biggest benefit. That and I’ve been a 121 FO for nearly 14 years not including my 9 years of corporate flying. I’m ready for a change. Just do it!
Not divorced, live in base. Kids are in elementary school. Just turned 40 and started year 7 a couple months ago.
I’m waiting til I can hold it in my base. I’m done commuting. I live in DEN and am bidding 40% so with the gate expansion….who knows.
