The metal frame LW is massively overkill these days. You aren’t throwing 50lbs of charts off the front, no need. The frame bends, scratches, rusts. I have the plastic frame one and it’s much better. Lighter, still strong, and doesn’t scrape everything and look like crap after a few rides. I think most people buy them out of habit, I genuinely found the metal one was worse than the plastic, as far as strength. Wobbled and needed ample amounts of thread lock to stay together. Don’t blow $300-500 on one of these. If you want to spend big money, go B+R and have a warranty, or go cheaper and just replace every few years.
