It comes with a strap with a clip on in. Takes a split second longer to connect than just dropping a bag on a J hook but it’s also much more secure as the attached bag wont ever come off accidentally. I had an FA once leave her bag at the airport when she was on the escalator her bag unhooked itself as the step lifted it up and she didn’t realize it. Thankfully someone saw it just sitting at the bottom of the escalator and turned it in to lost and found and she got it back.
