If the legs were originally awarded as DT or PP (that's how the trip was picked up) then it is protected, yes. That is the lowest you will get paid unless you call sick or fatigued.
You get paid the highest of what was awarded or what was actually flown per duty period.
If you have a day that is awarded as 5.0, later gets changed to 10.0, but then cancels before you fly anything, you get 5.
If you have a day that is awarded as 10.0 and cancels with just a deadhead home paying 5, you get paid 10.0.
