on a side note, I am just to blame as well. Durning the NW strike we were carrying their passengers while they fought with management. Sure I told the jump seater "great job" and "fight the fight". But really those are just words and nothing else. Did ALPA tell all pilots to park airplanes durning the NW strike? NO they did not.
We need to all be "one" and "not" just a bunch of fractional groups of one.

loss of pensions
contracts gutted
handing flying to the regions
you would think pilots would try and do something different but they continue doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I don't believe we have seen the bottom yet...
