Not out of base on reserve. They can recreate a trip to be in your base, I.e. deadheads on the front and back. But you can’t slip out of base as a reserve pilot. As a line holder there are options.
As he says, with a line there are options. An out of base white slips (pickup at straight pay) are done the day before or day of the trip.
