Even so, as someone else alluded to in a prior post, just being able to hold a line doesn’t mean you’ll be able to get what you want. A complete wild guess on my part, but I’d estimate that there are many senior people who will be bidding for commutable trips so it may take some time to get what you want.

Yeah I knew being junior would suck, but I know Frontier wants to more than double it's pilot pool, so getting in now would be great for the future. Just was trying to gauge which base would be best for myself. Praying even more now for a DFW base opening lol. Even on reserve at my prior airlines, it wasn't bad as a commuter. Usually we had 3 days off, gave me chance to get home and have a couple of days at home.
If I'm just going to be stuck at domicile all the time on reserve or as a line holder, maybe I will try for Orlando or Philly. Hoping to get home at least a couple of times a month if that's the case.
