How about, don't extend it but introduce something better, something that is not just a band aid.
While I agree there should be something better and they have had almost five months to evaluate the ongoing train wreck, I seriously doubt ENY management still accepts that there IS a train wreck. But if they extend the LOA then folks can make up the difference to pay back the taxes and union dues when they leave for United and have to pay back the rest of the bonus.
