Phone call at 5 in 12 months. At 7 they can put you in “dependability monitoring”- whatever that is, though the chief pilot can opt to put you into dependability monitoring at his discretion with as little as one absence. The policy is pretty vague. Basically the CP can bug you about your absences at his discretion but you are legally justified in calling in sick whenever necessary, and there are union protections in place for commuting reliability. We all want to stay out of the CP’s office but stay home when you’re sick & don’t worry about it.
