I'll say it again slowly for those in the back.....a new hire WANTED to get NYC and couldn't hold it right out of Indoc......bizarro world!!!!
I wanted NYC as a new hire and there weren’t any spots. I was able to bid to NYC on first AE and waited about a month.
I know One guy that had the same thing happened and the bid MD 88 in Atlanta and while he was there they closed the New York City 88 base. He ended up stuck down there for about a year and a half commuting from New York until he could hold 220.
It happens.
