Keep in mind that during an AE, there don’t have to be positions posted for you to get a transfer. If a bunch of people bid out of a base, it’s typical that the company will back-fill at least some of those. Plenty of opportunity to get to NYC! Bid the airplane you want if it’s in NYC and you’ll be able to transfer pretty quickly.
