Plenty of people with more than 1k TPIC don't get calls either. It certainly can't hurt, and no one really knows what the algorithm is filtering for and 1k TPIC has sort of been a benchmark to meet for a long time. I'm sure the requirements will continue to drop as majors become more desperate to fill seats.

Normally I would say do not turn jobs down that increase your pay and QOL. Alaska is the exception right now.
