This is a quote from the AE Careers website:

Through American Eagle, American Airlines and the oneworld® Alliance, our employees—along with their families and friends—enjoy the freedom to travel almost anywhere in the world.
AMR is in the process of spinning off AE and have informed us that the travel benefits will probably change when this happens. If AE gets spun off and gets a 5year service contract with AA then we will keep some sort of travel benefit for 5 years. Beyond that who knows.
