Wrong, there’s union protection while in probation. If the person follow the rules it won’t have any issues.
I do agree the ATL-West commute, is not worth it with less than 72hrs off.
I'll defer to you, that was not my understanding. Course that was decades ago for me. When my kids got hired, that was my advise to them.
