I’m not gonna hash out the arbitrator’s SLI reasoning, but go read it again. We were non-union until about 9 months before purchase date and at the time had no CBA. We had a Work Rule Book which doesn’t mean anything. It is what it is and here we are today. What I’m observing now is an “us versus them” mentality, of the new school versus old school. I’m seeing people punching down on the senior crowd for post Kasher actions and contracts.

OR

We could choose to stop punching down on each other, be united, support one another, and STOP this blame game on APC that does nothing except create animosity. If management reads this forums, they must be laughing at the pilots turning against one another and the constant bickering.
SG, I have tons of respect for you, but I find your utterances these days to be bordering on bovine excrement. It is beneath you.

Maybe the angry crowd is the ex-VXers, because they were aware from the get go how bad AS contract is, and have been the canary in the coal mine since then. Many legacy ASers in the beginning were in their bubble telling us we had won the lottery, things are great at AS, etc.

Even families fight and argue amongst themselves as we seek a solution to our differences.

The great news I think is that even they, the legacy ASers, are beginning to realize/admit how bad it is here, and it seems like we are ready UNITE with regards to exploring all legal options available to secure a decent contract.

I commend you for making peace with your reality here at AS, but quit knocking those who choose to voice their discontent, agitate for change, and I presume would be willing to be in the front row if the call to action goes out.
