Which is a perfectly fine advise. I come from a regional that they would scrutinize every single thing you do. I can say that so far in my 5yrs here, the CPO, the duty pilot, crew schedulers, trackers and 99% of our colleagues have supported me all the time.
Just follow the rules, the PWA and the common sense and the possibilities of being fired are very slim.
