It's absolutely ridiculous that a major airline pilot has to have a second job to have "abundance."
It explains so much.
Personally, I'd rather get paid industry rates and with the quality of life to match. Life is short. Slaving away at two jobs to keep up with my neighbor at Delta is no way to live.
Also, you love to talk about the past. Name dropping the villains who have held Alaska pilots back for decades. Kasher. Clinton. Maybe even put some blame on Ted Kennedy while you're at it. But it doesn't explain how 7 airlines have sailed past Alaska in pay, work rules, and quality of life in the last 10 years. Part of being happy at Alaska Airlines is washing your hands of the blame.
