The over 65 crowd doesn’t want to work that hard, for that little. As a 10 year veteran of Regional Pilot Purgatory, I can personally attest (as many others can on this forum), that the Regionals are very grinding. I did many 7-8 leg days that were 15+ hours of duty. 26 leg four day trips. The flying is a lot of work!!!
