As a 10 year veteran of Regional Pilot Purgatory, I can personally attest (as many others can on this forum), that the Regionals are very grinding. I did many 7-8 leg days that were 15+ hours of duty. 26 leg four day trips. The flying is a lot of work!!!
Precisely. The over 65 are better served going to Flexjet, XOJET, Netjets that offer home basing and drastically better QOL on the road. Although I did fly on a Cape Air with a retired UAL and he loved it...but they were allowing him to do it part time and he lived in Boston.
