Sorry for bringing back an old thread guys. Does anyone know how these headsets work without earplugs? I bought a Plantronics MS200 on ebay for pretty cheap. I like the design, but it is not for the 145. It's way too loud in the cockpit, and I don't like putting an earplug in the other ear. Even with the other ear plugged, i was missing transmissions either from the Captain or ATC. I like what I see with the Telex 750, but I don't want to put an earplug in each ear either. Any info is appreciated.

P.S. If anyone does have a quieter cockpit, the MS200 is now for auction on Ebay.
