I’m not talking specifically about people who have posted their experiences here (sorry it didn’t go well), but sometimes “I promise I’m not looking to just get a 320 type rating and move on..” sounds exactly like: “I just want some 320 time so I can move on”.

Sometimes describing a bad mark or training flub that really wasn’t a big deal can come off as sounding like “It wasn’t my fault, I was not wrong, the guy was out to bust me” even if that’s not how it sounded in your head.

I only bring this up not to trash the guys who didn’t make it, but just to illustrate how even good candidates can get in the way of themselves in an interview. Spirit has a notoriously relaxed interview, so you rarely hear about people doing some sort of interview prep for it, but if there is something on your record, or even if you are a bit shaky on verbalizing “Why Spirit?” then it definitely would be a good idea to speak with someone impartial and get an opinion on how your answers come off.

Best of luck to everyone
I completely agree with all that Only thing I would like to add or point out is with my MTC it was really laid back and not really an interview or those types of questions. It really was a question and answer scenario with the resume you’re presenting. Mine wanted to know more about what questions I had versus what he wanted to know. They have a paper there they fill out based on what you answer. There are no tricks and it’s straightforward. Good luck to everyone.
