By not recognizing someone's sex, chosen or not, you are deliberately attacking who they are.
That is not compelled speech. It is a perfect example of something so disgusting that society has made it nearly-unacceptable to say. And I never said I wouldn’t recognize a preferred pronoun, because I wouldn’t be rude - again, there are rules to polite society (something the left can’t seem to understand). But the coerced use of language by threat is a dangerous precedent and carve-out to the idea of freedom.
