I didn’t want to clog up another thread since I don’t even work here. But yeah. Allegiant makes IWA LAS LAX work. Frontier makes DEN LAS LAX work (I wanted to believe the PHX rumor in early 2020, not anymore though). Southwest should open their new concourse any day now. American keeps farming out a lot of doting to us and Mesa, but we still have full flights. Delta sometime has upward of a dozen planes at the gate and United about half a dozen, all blocking each other on their ramp. I still see and hear Frontier holding waiting for gate space. There’s a lot of flying to be had and a ULCC could come in and ramp up. Even if not a base, at least a bigger focus city.

At this point I’m just hoping more western cities could push more for an LAX base and/or beef up LAS. I wish PHX, but at this point I’m starting to think I’ll never see a home base again (whether I try to upgrade here or go to another airline). One can hope…
