Not really, five months ago we had no upgrades. Its all about the long game. If reducing upgrades a few months makes you leave, then get used to bouncing from job to job.

I think you're missing the point. Nobody at Spirit is that fickle that they're jumping ship at a single small captain vacancy; that's reducing the discussion to a myopic perspective. At the macro level, we are seeing notably high levels of attrition (and somehow there's people with their head in the sand denying this when FLICA says otherwise), a really rough peak summer travel season without any indications management has taken substantial measures to fix the issues, and an order book with dozens of new jets inbound with increasing evidence (captain vacancy + FO attrition) that we may not be able to staff the jets properly. So yes, the 10 captain vacancies is alarming, especially if the trend continues.
