Either A.) we’ve had a glut of pilots leave, but those who wanted to leave left and those who want to stay stayed. We absorb this, hiring continues and upgrades resume.
Or B.) The trend continues or increases. Planes get parked, captains are downgraded, growth comes to a screeching halt. Basically all the worst parts of the Bible.
True have a longer period to see the trend, but I think we will see that trend a lot sooner. After Jan 1 the legacies ramped up hiring, I hear 80 a week at some. At what point do we hit a wall with our ability to put new hires and upgrades through training? What if anything is the near term limit? Can we do 150+ upgrades and newhires a month, so we end up with 75? There is a net total of 26 new hires so far for the month.
