Yeah it is every Americans business to find out why there is such a huge gap between the average working Joe's income versus Oil Corporations CEOs. Even in Europe, CEOs running one of the world's largest corporations do not make this kind of salaries and bonus.
So why don't you take issue with CEO's in other industries......telecom, software, transportation, media, finance. I mean all of these industries (and more) have CEO's making salaries with the same gap you are complaining about. If you want to "yap" about others not understanding at least make a good argument by complaining about every CEO out there because I hate to tell you bro, they all make millions more than the average working Joe. Thats WHY they make millions, because they didn't settle for being an average working Joe. If you have such a problem with it I suggest you go to an Ivy League type school, get an MBA or PhD and throw your hat in the fray. Until then you just sound like sour grapes when someone posts a well thought out response.
