It’s just ridiculous. Every time I go on fb or one of the hiring interview prep boards I see another person (not a wholly owned pilot) getting hired at AA or interviewing and they are usually less qualified than most people I know at the WOs. AA clearly has a stop gap filter in place on WO pilots.
Can you blame them? If I was AA I would hire from every carrier who doesn’t fly for me so that I could directly hurt my competition.
