Except that Maury really is that spiteful. He cut his own nuts off with the furloughs and previous years of complete warfare with labor. Remember, we're just another ****ing airline now.

My guess more than six months.
Absolutely. He seemed almost gleeful in that early covid memo when he talked about rolling the company back to 2010 levels. You could almost hear the ice cubes clinking in the glass of fine scotch. There was utter glee in Tracy's tone when she got to send her Plan B emails every Friday in the summer of 2020. Have we already forgotten about that?

Allegiant is the kind of company that wins when everyone else is losing. That's Maury's superpower. So of course he's rooting for the world to fall apart again. He ain't right in the head and only cares about himself, his buddies, and his money. This is the guy who created the ValuJet disaster with his callous dirtbag cheapness.

It's been said on this forum and I'll say it again. Maury couldn't care less what happens to the people or how small this airline gets as long as he still maintains a 20% profit margin his shareholders will kiss his ass and regard him as an industry hero. He will find a way to make that happen labor contracts and attrition be damned.

This is going to be a much smaller airline in a couple years.
