Ah, well the reason we are understaffed is management. We should definately use Deltas words against them whenever possible. They identified they were short months aho, maybe a year ago everything is blending together. The did not hire. Then they hired slowly while pretending theyd do 120 a month. Then they still didnt hire 120 and announced 200 a month. Then they didnt hire that either (unless this month is the month finally).
Management is doing this "hire craze" talk while not doing it to try and build excitement. Excited engaged employees will help get the job done. Apathetic pilots will exactly as much/little as it takes to not to be noticed.
Just keep those wants in mind, and communicate that to management and the union. There will never be thousands of pilots that disengage enough to get the companies attention. But should it happen anyway, ill keep everyones beers full on apathy island.
