FWIW, I know a guy with over two years seniority who lives in SLC, leave for FedEx. Among many other similar stories. But again, no need to trade anecdotes. I just think Delta is teed up to be much more of a pilot exporter than importer (of new hires between other legacies/cargo)
Lol there will always be people saying don't come to X airline, it's as inevitable as an airline pilot buying white new balance shoes. Meanwhile an early 40s squadron mate just left AAL after 2 years to come to DAL and passed on his UPS interview invite. Many of my squadron mates only applied at DAL. I think they understand that you'll make a dang fine living at any one of the carriers and being the international WB Captain isn't necessarily the end-all/be-all of a career. Most dudes just don't want to commute for an entire career, which your anecdote aside, is more than likely the reason most of the guys that move airlines. Getting multiple CJOs used to be rare, now it seems to be a norm...pilots just have more options now.
