If you've been offered a class date, I'd reach out to recruitment pretty quickly to try the get an exemption, but getting a medical exemption is pretty much impossible unless you already have a critical disease or severe allergy to the vaccination ingredients, and sincerely held religious exemptions are also pretty difficult to receive, looking at just the military they're denying almost all of them.
Again, not starting a debate on the vaccine itself, just the facts of the current state of things.
I know someone (who used to post on here) who has a medical exemption from jetblue. Most MEs got approved it sounds like. REs are basically on hold until the courts settle it from what I can tell. There are over 300 in an anti-mandate group at jetblue who don’t have and won’t get a clotshot. Can’t speak to new hires though, only existing employees, but I’d at least try for an exemption. If they won’t give it to you, I’d tell them to shove their mandate up their ass and go somewhere else.
