A bunch of “would be” pilots walked away which is an often overlooked contributing factor to the current shortage. At least the industry has corrected itself and entry level wages have sky rocketed
7 yr FO. My last 3 day had a TAFB of 59 hrs. I made $55.88 for every hour away from home. $135.67 for every hour on duty. (those numbers are based on straight pay since the entire month of Jan paid 1.5 or 2x)
