This sounds like tinfoil hat wearing pilot versus management conspiracy theory.
I wish I were wrong, I really do. This story came around again through another source - a very senior guy who is plugged in to the goings on at this place. It happened like that. I'm not making it up or listening to crackpots. That's why junior captains like me are weighing their options and looking at possibly moving on. I used to think that in the interest of making money management wouldn't make stupid decisions, knowing what I know about this and other goings on it's clear I was wrong. This airline will figure things out one way or another and life will go on but the drama is so childish.
