Exactly. Simple as that. Though I agree with the sentiment of the OP, it’s not ideal but it is what it is.
Good thing the company can’t hire outside instructors to do the flight training of pilots, doing the company’s bidding to get pilots on the line. I like the fact we have seniority list Spirit Airbus pilots deciding who gets sent to the line and who doesn’t.
And I don’t think the 4000 TT will be the issue, but some of the other requirements for upgrade. But they will change too
