I want these people that commit a federal crime aboard an aircraft to be charged and convicted in CRIMINAL court. I want time and money to be paid.

You think civil litigation won’t tie up the courts? That’s a joke.

If I were assaulted as a crew member I’d press charges AND file a civil suit.
Problems with criminal law: 1) The burden of proof is too high. 2) Disruptive behavior isn't always illegal. 3) Ex-post-facto laws are illegal.

Airlines are having trouble enforcing mask mandates and part of that is due to there being not a single criminal conviction for mask compliance. Unfortunately such a conviction is highly unlikely in our outdated criminal justice system. The law in 1776 was never set up to handle a global pandemic back when germs were just a crazy theory.

Civil penalties can be assessed for pretty much any reason, such tailgating into secure areas or not completing TSA screening once you begin. The act doesn't need to be a crime. It only needs to harm an agency's efforts in some way. The bad behavior doesn't need to be proven illegal, just harmful. This is good because not everything that is legal is right and we want people to act right. In the New America you won't be able to do things just because they're legal, especially if they're frowned upon.
