Personal opinion on the lodge.

The Rooms are clean and roomy
The showers are good
TV station selection is limited
Beds are comfortable
Nice Pool
Descent Gym
Free Bike rentals
Shuffle Board and Pools tables in the lobby. Don't know if they are back yet, they were removed for covid.
Mask policy will follow airport mandate as it is located on airport property
Wait for Laundry facilities. Not enough machines for the amount of rooms
No fridge allowed in room
Community Fridge in hall, must label and date everything
No Alcohol in your room or public fridges (hall patrols monitor this)
No one else allowed in your room. If you want to study or watch a game with someone go to a public space
Thermostats controlled by engineering, have to get them to unlock them if you want something cold
You are always on camera so don't be silly
No per diem during training just a lodge credit You get a daily credit that is use it or lose it each day.
If you have an early or late brief/debrief forget about food unless you are getting something out of the freezer/fridge in the pantry area
Bar, if open, has limited menu
Expect to hear constant calls to come join someone for bingo or other team building exercise (felt like college dorm to me)
The Chef there is nice and approachable. If there is something you really want ask and see what happens, sometimes you might get surprised. He genuinely cares about what he serves. He is talented but does get handcuffed by the budget he's given. They are good at stretching the food dollar and you will items re-used in different ways in the following days menus. You will get tired of lodge food after about 2 weeks. Try to get out of the place on a day off when you and get a change of scenery and food.
