As a 7ER pilot commuting from SLC, bid 320/73N/220 and just wait to bid to SLC on an AE. It won't be a long wait and certainly you will not get to SLC any faster bidding something not in SLC (717/7ER) and trying to use the 1 year seat lock release rule. You'll get to slc even later with a longer seat lock on airplane #2 and be gone longer with all the training. Keep it simple. Don't over think it.
Okay sounds like sound advice - is the 737/320/220 pretty similar in seniority in SLC? I’d imagine the 220 is the most junior
