I would recommend what ever company has the base you’re currently residing. Living in base allows you to pick up extra flying, and you’ll still have a better QOL then commuting.
The better question is how backed up training is for both companies. If you have to wait 6 months longer for one compared to the other, you might want to adjust your priorities in life. I’ve recently moved to live in base. Once I’m senior enough to live in my base of choice at my current company I’ll move again. I have a significant other who’s been willing to make those type of sacrifices with me, very lucky.
Moving all around the lower 48 for a regional?
