I interpreted that as - don’t submit your apps until you’ve got at least the 1000 hours turbine.

Depending on your qualifications, you consider seeking employment with a 135 or fractional operator. Accumulate the times required by the airlines as well as TPIC. You’ve got to be marketable to be considered for employment. Good luck and stick with it.
