A little birdie told me that the AA chief pilots are telling the probationary new hires at their base visit meeting that the company expects you to be there within 2 hours and while you can go over that in special circumstances, it better not be often or "there will be a problem". One guy actually had the balls to ask how often and he said "3-4 times a year".
