A bad economy and high fuel prices are some great news for f9/nk. Our lower operating cost, already scheduled aircraft deliveries, and growth all work in our favor. The big 3 are all chasing the same customer as we are pulling folks out of their cars, bases, or other carriers. The unwashed masses out number the business traveler by quite a bit.

we are growing and expanding, which is always better than stagnation hiring for attrition. If the economics justify the big 3 parking thier less efficient aircraft, they simply will stop hiring for a pause and let the retirements balance the payroll. And replace those less efficient aircraft with new planes. True f9/nk could do the same, but we are already way ahead in a fuel efficient fleet.

when pushed, a seat is a commodity and most folks will pick price every time. The fact we offer the cheapest price is an edge. Sure we may have more fights to break up but that just adds to the excitement.
