My potentially incorrect information was that becoming an LCA was more about who you know rather than what you know, but the current times have turned that paradigm upside down. Now senior pilots (myself included) have no desire to work harder as an LCA even if more money was offered because I want to work as little as possible and I think more and more pilots are beginning to share that feeling.
